About The Podcast
Each episode, I dig to find out what my guests driving motivator is and why they started a business and how it affects/affected their life at the time. We talk about things like favourite books, morning routines, exercise habits, time-management tricks, and much more.
For the last 5 years, I have been working behind the scenes for a typical “A-Type” Personality. Through that time, I have built friendship and relationships with some rather interesting people.
I found myself scrolling through my friend list on FB one day and seeing the people there, and things they had accomplished, I wondered how useful it would be to have conversations with these people and get to know how they got where they are and achieved the things they have achieved in their lives.
Because I help manage a couple of pretty engaged groups on entrepreneurs, I thought that the insights from our conversations would be useful for people at the start of their respective journeys in entrepreneurship.
I want the conversations to help people steer clear of analysis paralysis, spinning their wheels, the over-thinking and under-acting state we all seem to get mired in at one point or another in this journey.
And in the scope of full transparency, running and managing the podcast will get me out of my comfort zone, and get me talking to a bigger group of people, whilst simultaneously building better relationships than just clicking “Send Friend Request” on Facebook.
What makes me so special?
I am on the same path as most of the people who may listen to this podcast. The little difference between us is that I find myself in the fortunate position of being able to reach out to some people in my network and have a conversation with them about things I find interesting and which might help people find some semblance of work-life balance in what they are doing.
I get to talk with and interact with some of the best and brightest people when it comes to running a business and I want to create a platform people can come to for insights and possible solutions to their problems.
I have had the good fortune of speaking with people like Ryan Lee who founder of Rewind a nutrition company that make Vegan and Gluten-Free bars to help fight inflammation and support a balanced diet, copywriter Bob Yeager who has been in business for over 2 decades and mentored some of the people in online business today you would have heard about.
I guess what I am trying to say is that if you like what they’ve got to say about building a business, AND a life you love, then you’ll enjoy listening to the show.
Tega: I have been a man of many vocations, I am however finding that my thing is systems and tech optimisation and figuring out a way to do something once and either delegating or automating it. I have been known as a Video guy, Podcast guy(obvs) and for running Ads for local clients.
